Law Enforcement uses a Taser on an 8 year old girl.

As a criminal defense attorney for years representing adults and juveniles I have seen every type of situation.  Sometimes its hard to comprehend law enforcement perspective.  They were called to the scene.  Are they trained to handle an 8 year old with a tantrum holding a knife.  Will she hurt herself or someone else.  Does the child have a mental health diagnosis?  Every one seems to be safe after the incident.  Now that the incident is over, everyone can look back and try and find fault.  It is important not to forgot everyone's perspective in the situation.
